Spawn #7 (January 1993)
“Payback Part Two”
Art & Words by Todd McFarlaneThis is round two of Spawn’s fight with the cyborg Overt-Kill. This time he’s packing some major heat thanks to a quick robbery at a military base infirmary, Spawn tells Tony Twist to have Overt-Kill meet him at the docks. Spawn then easily shoots the fuck out of him and reduces Overt-Kill to a pile of scrap parts.
Fun Fact: This issue was dedicated to Rob Liefeld for his contribution of Overt-Kill, a character who was based off another character Liefeld and McFarlane created on The Comic Book Greats with Stan Lee.
This is actually one of the better issues of the early Spawn days. It still has that really dark tone and strangeness about it. When Spawn gets his hands on that heavy artillery, he turns into a maniac.

DIY bionics - making kids smile again.
See the joy in Liam’s eyes as he is grasping a ball with his right hand for the first time. By the time this cute fellow grows up, he will have a bionic hand that will be connected to his neural-system and be indistinguishable from his biological body; but for now all Liam cares about is being able to play ball.
